Innocent Until Proven Guilty - First, it should be pointed out that if you did it, you're guilty, no matter what. So you're not innocent unless you're truly innocent. However, our system presumes innocence, which means that legally speaking, even the obviously guilty are treated as though they are innocent, until they are proven otherwise.
This is very sweet Kat, I just hope they do not get a Jury from Pinelas county FL...LOL, I know this trial is going to be in Chicago...
ReplyDeleteThanks T,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to do something to acknowledge the victims close in time to their deaths...the last week in June 2008...3 long years ago.
There will be a number of trials for NS related to this alleged week-long killing spree. First one in Galesburg for Ronald Randall starts Aug.29...he is representing himself in this one. There should be at least 2 more trials in Whiteside County which is approx half-way between Chicago and Galesburg. There will be another trial in Festus, MO after IL is done.
Thank you for having this blog about Nick. The people from IL wont let the families down. I can't wait for his first trial to be over then he can come back to Whiteside County.
ReplyDeleteNice tribute Kat. Sending blessings to these families. NS is a waste of resources. what a shame for all concerned.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this Kat...you know how to give people a lift when they need it...I got mine today!!!
ReplyDeleteTo everyone who has commented. I have not given up hope that justice will prevail in this case. It's important to me to keep the memory of these eight people forefront because they are what these cases are all about, not NS.
ReplyDeleteFrom a relative of two of the victims, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this memorial and for keeping the memory of the eight alive.
