Innocent Until Proven Guilty - First, it should be pointed out that if you did it, you're guilty, no matter what. So you're not innocent unless you're truly innocent. However, our system presumes innocence, which means that legally speaking, even the obviously guilty are treated as though they are innocent, until they are proven otherwise.
Katfish, I agree with your sentiments exactly. The picture was precious. I really enjoy your blog and anxiously await any news on that creep who killed all those people in June of 2008. Thanks for all you do. A faithful reader.

ReplyDeleteThere will be a hearing on Dec.12 in Galesburg, it is a discovery deadline so I think it will just be an exchange of paperwork, unless the defense requests an extension.(They said they might.)I don't know if NS will be brought to town for that, but I will report whatever happens. :)
NS is also scheduled to testify for his brother's defense in Whiteside County. That trial starts Dec. 7 and is expected to go 3 days. We will see what happens, NS changes his mind frequently. I hope to attend but I'm not sure if I will be able to.
oops that hearing was Dec.4 not the 12th.
